Blue Heron

A frequent visitor in Spring and Summer to downtown Dayton.  I was walking the bike path on a weekend and encountered this Blue Heron.  I believe it must be a juvenile because it was near shore and I was able to get within about five to six feet of it.  It didn’t know enough yet to be scared of man.  Normally, the bigger birds would never let you get this close.  Again, I had a camera at the right place and the right time.
